Structural Design
We provide Structural Design services for a wide variety of projects in accordance with current local building codes, and in accordance with Federal, State and City and County requirements. Design services for projects include: new structures, renovations, additions and retrofits. Past design experience includes projects which incorporate most of the major types of construction materials. These include: cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, post-tensioned and pre-stressed concrete, structural steel, light gage steel, masonry, wood, fiberglass, and aluminum.
Structural Forensic Engineering
We provide Forensic engineering services which include: assessments, evaluations, failure and damage investigations, and due diligence studies. Past forensic experience includes studies of wood rot and termite damage, structural steel corrosion, reinforcing steel corrosion, concrete and masonry spalling, cracking, settlement, and deflection.
Structural Construction Observation & Special Inspection
We provide construction observation services through the duration of construction of a project. In addition to Construction Observation, we have the capability to provide Special Inspection services in accordance with local City and County Building Code provisions and the Uniform Building Code. This includes the inspection of the following types of materials and items: Concrete, Reinforcing Steel, Anchor Bolts, Structural Steel, Bolting, Masonry, Sheathed Shearwalls and Diaphragms, and Complete Load Path and Uplift Ties.
